Information processed

We process account email addresses, password hashes, API-key hashes and prefixes, subscription identifiers, request usage and requested URLs to provide and protect the service. Submitted pages may contain personal information. Do not submit private or sensitive data you are not entitled to process.

Requests and providers

Snapmeta connects to requested websites to retrieve their content. Those websites receive the service's network requests. Stripe processes subscription payments; a configured transactional email provider delivers account messages. Session cookies support browser login and account actions.

Storage and retention

Metadata is cached for reuse for up to 24 hours; this cache window is not a promise that database rows are deleted at that point. Generated artifacts expire for download after 24 hours and are removed by scheduled cleanup. Account, usage, billing records and operational backups have separate retention needs and are not covered by that artifact expiry window. Contact support about deletion requests and applicable retention.

Access and requests

Artifact downloads require authentication for the account that created them. Contact support to ask about your information, corrections or deletion. Do not send passwords, API keys or payment card details in a support request.
