Acceptable Use Policy

Working policy dated 14 September 2026.

Use Snapmeta lawfully and respect target-site terms, access restrictions and the rights of content owners and other people.

• Do not request, create or distribute illegal content, or use the service to harass, defraud or harm others.
• Do not bypass authentication, paywalls or technical access controls, probe private networks, exploit vulnerabilities, or collect credentials.
• Do not evade quotas or rate limits, create accounts to defeat limits, or overload Snapmeta or a target website.
• Do not infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights. Obtain permission where it is required.

Abuse reports and takedown requests

Send reports to hello@dgen.uk with the affected URL or artifact identifier, the reason for the report, your relationship to the content and a contact address. Do not include secrets or unnecessarily reproduce harmful content.

We review reports, may request clarification, and may restrict access or remove stored artifacts where appropriate. Snapmeta cannot remove content from the original website; contact its operator for removal at the source. No fixed response time is promised.
